As a testament to our commitment to sustainable travel, here are a few bits and pieces that we’ve been working on:

● You won’t have the need to ask for straws. All of our hotels are free from single-use plastic, and we’re targeting to become 100% waste-free by 2025.

● Coral reefs are important to preserve our destinations and our beaches (and important in general for the health of our ocean). We have a Coral Lab in the Dominican Republic and nine coral nurseries in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Jamaica. Additionally, we cultivate mangrove nurseries with 19,000 trees.

● At our hotels, 83% of the seafood consumed is sourced from responsible fisheries. Our food philosophy emphasizes natural, fresh, and local products, and we aim to reach 100% responsible sourcing by 2025.

● We have made significant strides in energy efficiency and are on track to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030. Since 2019, we have reduced our global emissions by 12% and our energy consumption by 6%.

● Our Star Camp is designed with your children’s fun and learning in mind, offering over 140 expert-created activities, including sustainability initiatives for teens. Plus, at times, kids stay for free at our resorts.
